Our Story

New City Cleaning Services originally started under a different name: T & J Cleaning. A husband and wife team, recently immigrated from Ecuador, set out to find a way to live in this great country and potentially begin bringing members of their family over with them. After getting just a few clients to begin with, what they found is that providing excellent service gets you more clients. And after 35 years, that compounding effect created a network of nearly a thousand unique customers all receiving the same excellent cleaning services without ever doing a single piece of marketing.
Looking forward to the future, we hope to continue to provide excellent service for our customers and increased pay, benefits, and a family away from family for our employees. At the end of the day, whether it’s a multistory office space or a small family dwelling, every person that interacts with that space deserves for it to be taken care. And each of our employees deserve pay and opportunities for work that will allow them to do something meaningful and provide for their families and loved ones.

Frequently Asked Questions

Unlike many cleaning services, we generally send 3 to 4 people together to clean a space. This allows people to specialize in different roles to be more efficient rather than go back and forth between different tasks. If a smaller team is requested we can accommodate that request.
It’s up to you! Many of our customers are present while we clean and others gives us keys or go on errands. If you’re present, the team will work around you. And if you decide to leave, all our employees have been background checked and more importantly have a track record of honest, hard work.
Our team has a standard operating procedure that they use to insure the majority of clients spaces are taken care. You do not have to provide anything. However, if you have a special request please let us know! We bring all of our own supplies and unless you wish to provide us with some thing in particular.
Our most common cleaning package is an every other week cleaning for an hour to an hour and a half. Some of our clients have requested weekly visits or every 4 week cleanings. The majority of our cleanings are full space cleanings, although we do some partial space cleanings to go after targetted areas.

We ask that you simply give us at least 24 hours notice so that we can re-route the crew. Additionally, if you need to pause your cleaning service for a period of more than 3 months, we ask that the first cleaning service back be a deep clean to get things back to a fantastic standard that we can upkeep.
